This is my first ever round painting, I saw the canvas in a shop and knew immediately that I wanted to do this picture. I took the photo a couple of years ago and always planned to paint it.

This view of The Chiltern Hills shows the serenity of nature and the glorious

English countryside.

STAPLE INN

Ink - Uni-ball Signo 0.7

This historic Tudor building in High Holborn, London dates back to 1585.

The building was once the wool staple, where wool was weighed and taxed.

It was originally attached to Gray's Inn, which is one of the four Inns of Court. The Inns of Chancery fell into decay in the 19th century. All of them were dissolved, and most were demolished. Staple Inn is the only one which survives largely intact.

An image of Staple Inn was used on the packaging of Old Holborn tobacco for many years.

Gordale Scar is near Malham in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

It was created during the Ice ages, melt water creating a cavern that eventually collapsed to create the waterfall and gorge you see today.
